Job Title: MS SQL Developer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 4-5 years.

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chennai/Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in MS SQL Server and related database technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance database solutions to meet business requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL databases and ensure data integrity and security.

·       Write complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for application development.

·       Monitor and troubleshoot database performance, ensuring maximum uptime and availability.

·       Collaborate with development teams to define data requirements and implement database solutions.

·       Perform database migrations, upgrades, and backup/recovery operations.

·       Implement and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices.

·       Provide support for production systems, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.

·       Document database architecture, configurations, and processes.

·       Stay updated with emerging database technologies and integrate them where applicable.

 

Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·       Microsoft Certification in SQL Server (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) is preferred.

 

Technical Skills

·       Proficiency in MS SQL Server (2016 and above).

·       Strong knowledge of T-SQL programming and performance tuning.

·       Experience with database design, indexing, and optimization techniques.

·       Familiarity with SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.

·       Knowledge of database replication, mirroring, and clustering.

·       Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus.

·       Working knowledge of version control systems like Git.

 

Soft Skills

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have
