Job Summary

The Presales Manager will drive the technical sales process, working closely with the sales and solutions teams to provide comprehensive technical expertise, proposals, and presentations for prospective clients. The role demands a deep understanding of industry trends and solutions, with a focus on building trust and demonstrating value. The ideal candidate will be skilled in technical sales strategies, client relationship management, and converting potential leads into successful long-term partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead presales engagements by understanding client needs and proposing effective technical solutions.

·       Collaborate with sales, product, and solutions teams to design and deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations.

·       Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in technical aspects of solutions.

·       Develop and deliver proposals, responding to RFPs and RFIs with customized solution details.

·       Support the sales team with deep technical knowledge throughout the sales cycle.

·       Conduct competitor analysis and maintain an understanding of industry trends to strengthen solution proposals.

·       Contribute to continuous improvement of the presales process by developing templates and best practices.

 

Qualifications and Skills

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

·       7+ years of experience in a presales or technical sales role, ideally within the IT or analytics domain.

·       Proven expertise in technical sales processes, RFP responses, and client engagement strategies.

 

Work Experience

·       Demonstrated experience in managing presales engagements and contributing to sales success in complex sales cycles.

·       Strong background in presenting technical solutions to various client stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

·       Track record of collaborating with sales teams to convert leads into successful business opportunities.

 

Technical Skills

·       Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and presales analytics tools.

·       Solid understanding of cloud platforms, data analytics, and modern IT solutions.

·       Familiarity with proposal creation tools and presentation software.

 

Soft Skills

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·       Exceptional client relationship management abilities.

·       Strategic thinking and problem-solving approach.

 

Good to Have

·       Experience with technical sales in data analytics or cloud computing.

·       Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
